Youth on Mission/Acteens Event

9:00 am – 1:00 pm

Saluda Baptist Association Office

 

- Register by Monday, August 28 by calling Saluda Baptist Office 864-225-7759.

 

- Give number of people attending for lunch count purposes.

 

- Our Mission Project is to bring items for children in Foster Care. (See Mission Project list.) Bring the items to the Scavenger Hunt, and they will be delivered to DSS after Labor Day 2023.

 

- Each youth group needs to bring a poster or sign with their church name to be used in photos at each ministry site.

 

- Each group needs a driver and a reporter to send a photo of your group with your church poster in front of each site to the scorekeeper.

  • Toiletries: 
  • Baby shampoo
  • Baby wash
  • Shampoo (boys & girls) & conditioner
  • Toothpaste
  • Tooth brushes
  • Bars of soap
  • Deodorant
  • Hand cream
  • 24 mon clothes & jammies for boys
  • Blankets for kids
  • Books (birth – teens)
  • Socks (boys & men’s)
  • Hair brushes
  • Combs
  • Backpacks
  • Diapers & pull-ups (all sizes)

Student Missions Day


When: Saturday, September 23, 2023, 9:30 AM  4:00 PM


Where: IMPACT Ministries & Retreat Center, Myrtle Beach, SC 


This event is for students in 6th - 12th grades and their chaperones/leaders.


Join us for a day of learning about and doing missions with IMPACT Ministries in Myrtle Beach! We will have both morning and afternoon missions projects, such as kids camps and hospitality ministries. We will take a break during lunch so that we can learn about how God is working in Myrtle Beach and around the world. Details about what supplies you will need for your ministry projects will be emailed to you as the event approaches. This is going to be a great day of serving together! We hope to see you there!


The price of $35.00 per person includes lunch and a T-shirt. You can pay by check, but if you choose to mail a check-in, remember to mail it early, as it takes time for us to receive it in time. When mailing the check, please also include the following for each student: Name, Grade, Age, Gender, T-shirt size, and Allergies/Dietary Restrictions. For Leaders, we need Name, Gender, T-shirt size, Email, and Phone number.
