Bethel Project

This project is to reclaim and renovate space to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming building for Bethel Baptist Church and Loving Out Loud Ministry.

  • About this Project

    Churches have been partnering with Bethel Baptist Church and its Loving Out Loud Ministry. As this ministry continues to grow we are taking steps to begin a Bethel Ministry Project. The project goal is to help reclaim and renovate space in a two-story ministry/classroom building behind the sanctuary on their property. Some areas of this building have not been used or updated in more than 30 years. To this date, two churches have donated monies to replace the roof and purchase materials to begin this project. Your help is needed to begin a major cleanout of the second-floor space. Our goal is to provide a clean, safe, and welcoming building. Everyone is invited to participate in this incredible partnership opportunity.


     


    A mission team from the Holmes Baptist Association in the panhandle of Florida this July to partner with us in this project and some other ministry projects in our association. In preparation for their arrival, we are having a work week planned to clean up the building and prepare for the construction team. 



    Teams are needed the week of May 15-20th to remove furniture debris, sweep, tear out ceiling tiles, and do overall general cleaning. We will begin each day at 9:00 am. Groups that might want to help can include men’s ministry teams, disaster relief teams, and other groups that want to serve. If you would like to help in other ways, like coordinating a meal, drinks, and snacks, please let us know. There is also a designated fund at Saluda Baptist Association if you are called to donate. And as always, please help by praying.
