Harrisburg
The Saluda Baptist Association has joined with the Baptist Resource Network of Pennsylvania/South Jersey to form church-to-church partnerships.
For the second year of partnership a vision trip was to the Harrisburg area. Our local representative kingdom partners met with the following pastors and church leaders. These videos and information sheets are for the churches that are willing to receive mission partners.
Once your church has decided who you would like to partner with, please let us know at the Association office. Our missions coordinator is willing to assist you if needed. As the partnerships grow and develop you can continue to send us updates. We would love to share how God has been seen moving in these opportunities.

Pastor Christian & Mrs. Ximena Aguilar
pastorchristian7@gmail.com
- Christian Aguilar and his wife Ximena (Pronounced Heemana) moved to the US from Chili 20 years ago, where street evangelism was prevalent
- They recognized a lack of street evangelism in the US, so they began Vida Life Church to reach the homeless and inner-city population
- They also recognized a need to minister to the migrant workers who served the fruit belt and began to serve that community
- During the months of March-November, over 2500 migrant workers are living in 125 camps in the PA area. May-June is their busiest time.
- The primary time to reach them is in the evenings after 5 pm.
- On rainy days the workers can’t be in the fields, so that is the best day to minister
- Christian and his wife use fellowship around the tables, games, soccer, and volleyball to open doors and build relationships.
- The wives and children usually come in the summer, so there are opportunities to reach them during those months.
- You must earn their trust with repeated visits to build relationships.
- Because the men are from various countries like Mexico, Puerto Rico, Haiti, and Guatemala they don’t know or trust even their housemates.
- Many speak Spanish or Creole or a dialect from their region
- Most are Catholic, but groups of Muslims are beginning to come to work
- These men suffer from loneliness, depression, concern for their families/children, and at times, physical injuries
- One week of work in the US groves is equivalent to 1 month’s work in their country
- Most are oral learners and do not read
- In 3 years, there have been 300+ salvations and 50 disciples
Needs:
- Database for registration of migrant families and their needs
- local leaders

Warren House & Creamer Missions
The BRN staff have asked Randy & Pam to coordinate the renovation of the Warren House. It is definitely a God sized assignment, one that was not sought out but was presented by their state leadership team. Although Randy and Pam are honored and humbled to be entrusted with this task, they are also very much aware that unless God provides the resources, volunteers and strength this project cannot be accomplished.
