Full Time Pastor

Austin Road Baptist Church, a Southern Baptist congregation, is seeking a full-time pastor to
lead our church in spiritual growth, biblical teaching, and community outreach. Located in
Honea Path, South Carolina our loving and mission-minded church family is committed to the
Baptist Faith and Message of 2000.

Qualification & Expectations:
A strong calling to pastoral ministry with a heart for preaching the inerrant Word of God
The ability to provide spiritual leadership and vision for church growth
The ability to lead both volunteer and paid ministry leaders
A passion for community outreach
A shepherd’s heart, offering pastoral care to church members of all ages
A degree from an accredited seminary or actively seeking a degree

Responsibilities:
Preach and teach biblically sound sermons
Lead and equip the congregation for discipleship and outreach
Provide pastoral care, including visitation, counseling, and support for members in need
Work with church leadership to guide your God-given vision and direction
Engage in and encourage community involvement to further the gospel
