Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Count down till prior to start of shift.
• Receive cash and dispense change for goods received with accuracy.
• Take credit/debit and process correctly for goods received.
• Maintain accuracy on till throughout shift.
• Keep register area free from clutter and debris so as to be presentable to all customers as they check out.
• Greet all customers entering and treat them with proper respect and courtesy.
• Make announcements as needed.
• Answer phones and deliver all messages appropriately.
• Process items for sale in timely manner as directed by the Store Manager
• Maintain proper inventory turns for all items as directed by the Store Manager
• Pursue professional development as it pertains to retail.
• Placing tagged clothing out on floor in correct location
• Maintain inventory turns for clothing department on weekly basis
• Maintains cleanliness and organization throughout the store, as directed by Store Manager
• Sort donated items – to sell, recycle, discard as directed by Store Manager
• Price donated items as directed by Store Manager
• Performs other duties as directed

• Basic mathematical and computer skills

• Ability to handle transactions accurately and responsibly
• Working knowledge of working a cash register
Work Environment:
• Works primarily in a climate controlled environment with minimal safety/health hazard potential
Physical Demands:
• Ability to be punctual and attend work on a regular and consistent basis
• Ability to concentrate with various interruptions and various noise levels
• Must be able to stand 80% of the time, walk, and work with other team members in a fast-paced environment
• Expected to lift boxes up to 30 pounds
Minimum Education Requirements:
• High School Diploma or GED
• Customer Service and/or Cashier Experience
